Letter to the Voter

“A Declaration of Independence — For the People”

My name is RC “Majid” Woolen Jr.

I am an American who refuses to stand by while the house continues to divide against itself. I am running for the United States Congress — not to play politics, but to restore purpose.

Not to take sides, but to take a stand.

Our nation is tired of watching leaders argue while our communities struggle.

We’re tired of division being sold as loyalty.

We’re tired of power being placed above principle.

I’m running as an Independent because I owe allegiance to the truth, not to a party.

Because real strength isn’t found in echo chambers — it’s found in courage, conviction, and common sense. I believe Congress should be a body that works — that listens, that debates, and that builds.

We don’t need more politicians rehearsing blame; we need builders who remember what the people’s house is for.

This campaign isn’t about anger. It’s about accountability.

It’s about mending what’s broken without bending what’s right.

It’s about standing firm on values that don’t shift with headlines — faith, family, fairness, and freedom.

I believe the American people are still strong enough, wise enough, and united enough to reclaim the government that belongs to them. We are not each other’s enemies. We are one nation — imperfect, but still capable of greatness when led with integrity.

So, I’m stepping forward — not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary.

Because our children are watching. Because the next generation deserves better than the excuses we’ve accepted. I’m running to strengthen Congress by strengthening character.

To prove that common ground is not lost — it’s waiting for leaders brave enough to stand on it.

Let’s rebuild the bridge between the people and their government.

Let’s make representation mean something again.

Let’s remind America who she is — one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

“Ask Us About Us — A Campaign for Correct Representation”

Manifesto

A manifesto for mending America’s divide and strengthening Congress through independent leadership

The Middle Path — Neither Red nor Blue

Independent identity and American balance.

  • “I’m not with this group or that one, but I see the strength in both.”

  • Bridging Republican structure and Democratic compassion.

  • Independence as the new patriotism — strength through principle, not party.

Conservative Soul, Liberal Light

The balance of moral grounding and open-minded growth.

  • "Conservative after conservative values” — faith, family, freedom — but open to movement within those values.

  • Showing how these ideals can be expressed with empathy and modern understanding.

  • The cultural misunderstanding of what “conservative” means in minority communities.

The Moral Question — Policy and Principle

Standing for truth in civil union, family, education, and identity.

  • Clarify the difference between civil union and marriage — rights, responsibilities, and moral boundaries.

  • The fight for children’s innocence — protecting natural growth and gender clarity.

  • School choice, vouchers, and education reform in Texas and beyond.

  • The president vs. the presidency — respect for office, not personality.

  • Immigration reform: from reactive to productive.

The New American Messenger

What it means to run as an independent in a polarized world.

  • Deciding to run for Congress: strengthening Congress by standing outside the party system.

  • The vision: not anti-party, but pro-balance.

  • How one voice of reason can begin a new era of honest leadership.
