An Update to Our Supporters

Thank you for being part of Ask Us About Us.

​

Many of you have asked about the status of the campaign and the path forward.

​

Earlier this year we explored the possibility of running for Congress as an Independent candidate in the 2026 midterm election. While that path reflected the spirit of the message in the book, the Texas Secretary of State did not accept the Independent filing because it was received after the statutory deadline required by law.

​

Rather than step away from the conversation, we are continuing the work in a different way.

​

Ask Us About Us is moving forward as a platform for dialogue, organization, and independent thinking. We are exploring lawful paths to public service through a potential third-party route while also building the foundation for a stronger Independent run in the future.

​

The book Ask Us About Us – A Campaign for Correct Representation remains central to that effort. Book sales are not political contributions. They are helping expand the message, introduce the conversation to more people, and support outreach that encourages citizens to speak about the issues affecting their communities.

​

To keep the conversation growing, we are also preparing:

​

• an audiobook version of Ask Us About Us, and

• the Ask Us About Us podcast, which will provide an ongoing space for listening and discussion.

The purpose of this effort remains the same:

​

Strengthening Congress by strengthening representation.

​

Too often decisions are made about the people without ever asking the people themselves.

​

This movement exists to change that.

​
